The National Eye Institute (NEI) concluded at the end of the study that this specific formula benefits those the best with moderate to advanced AMD. Ocufit NOW contains Natural Vitamin E. Throughout the duration of both ARED studies, patients were given synthetic Vitamin E (a less expensive, petroleum based version).
