What is DHA Vegetarian?
Source Naturals Vegetarian DHA provides a unique, completely vegetarian form of the omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) that is derived from a sustainable algae-based source. Due to low-fat or vegetarian diets, many people have sub-optimal concentrations of DHA. It is the most prevalent fatty acid in the brain, where it supports a positive mood and the transmission of electrical nerve impulses and communication. DHA is particularly critical for fetal and infant brain and eye development.
